‘Ronaldo Is Mentally Stronger Than The Rest’

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri hailed his star man Cristiano Ronaldo by stating that the forward is mentally stronger than others. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid man scored for Juventus in their 2-0 win over a struggling Frosinone side.

Ronaldo was reduced to tears after being sent off on his Champions League debut with the Italian powerhouse.  However, he redeemed himself and broke the deadlock in the 81st minute to hand his side a fifth straight win in the Serie A this season.

Although a few opportunities went begging for the sharpshooter, he kept his composure and took his chance to brush midweek’s heartache aside. He was at the right place in the right time as he slotted home the all-important goal of the fixture. His manager was absolutely delighted with his intent, hunger and mentality.

Supporting Ronaldo, the Juventus boss said, 'Cristiano Ronaldo had many chances and that happens because good balls always end to players that are able to score goals in the box.'

According to the Italian mastermind, it is important to score more than anything else and keep fighting for the chances.

'He missed some of these chances, in a few occasions he has been unlucky with the rebounds, but his strength is the fact that he is always into the match, even if he doesn't score straight away. And that's what happened because to score a goal like that towards the end means that he has a mentality stronger than the others,' he added.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has now scored three goals in his last two games after a relatively poor start to his life in Turin. Juventus will be hoping their main summer signing continues to flourish in front of goal when they take on Bologna on 27 September in the Serie A.
