Real Madrid willing to let go of two players plus €100m cash to land prime target – Reports

Mohamed Salah’s exploits this season haven’t gone unnoticed. The Egyptian has scored 42 goals this season and provided 13 assists, that’s a form that puts him amongst the best in the world. In particular, the 25-year-old has attracted great interest from the current European Champions, Real Madrid.

On the face of it, the Reds would be insane to sell their most prized asset following his dazzling performance that knocked Roma out cold in the first leg of the Champions League semif-final tie. However, their interest in some Madrid players could sway their thinking. According to Spanish media, Real is now willing to offer some of their midfielders plus cash for the Egyptian, that’s how much Los Blancos want the PFA Player of the Year.

Diario Gol believes that Zinedine Zidane and his men are preparing a €190m bumper package for the Egyptian this summer. The publication states that Real Madrid is surprisingly willing to offer one of their best players in Luka Modrić and out of favour Dani Ceballos in addition to €100m cash.

It’s well known that Liverpool has had serious interest in Dani Ceballos, as Jürgen Klopp is in dire need of a competent central midfielder to replace the outgoing Emre Can. As for Luka Modrić, the Croatian superstar is reportedly looking for greener pastures outside of the Bernabéu. A player of Modric’s pedigree would not only better the Reds on the pitch but also boost their reputation.

Although Liverpool is reluctant to losing another megastar to a big Spanish side, those outside of Liverpool are encouraging the winger to move at any given opportunity. Egyptian legend Mido told ON Sport that “with all due respect to Liverpool and his fans, Salah should immediately accept any offer from Real Madrid or Barcelona.”

At Real Madrid, Mohamed Salah would excel alongside the excellent movement of Cristiano Ronaldo. With Gareth Bale looking to end his Madrid nightmare, a deal for Salah offers the most exciting solution.
