Manchester United are reportedly looking to bring back Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is a blockbuster deal according to various reports in Spain. According to the reports, Ronaldo is unhappy at the way he is being treated at the Spanish capital and is looking for a way out.
The Portuguese international has been looking for a new deal with Real. However, talks with the defending La Liga and Champions League champions are yet to begin. The forward has struggled so far in the league – scoring only 6 goals as the Blancos now see themselves 19 points below league-leaders FC Barcelona.
Many reports in Spain and Italy now suggest that Florention Perez is not really keen on keeping the star striker and may offload Real’s highest wage earner in the summer.
The Catalan paper Sport has added to the speculation by saying that Real will let Ronaldo leave the Bernabeu – nine years after his arrival if they are able to get their hands on Neymar and David De Gea.
Whilst the arrival of Alexis Sanchez – who plays in a similar role to Ronaldo may provide an obstacle to the deal – the report suggests that Mourinho might be tempted to bring Ronaldo back to Old Trafford if there is a possibility of a straight swap with Real’s long-time target, De Gea.
Spanish radio station Cadena Ser has also suggested that Madrid will be looking to sign the Spanish international keeper for a third time this summer with £87m (€100m) being the valuation. With reports suggesting that Ronaldo asking Real not to value himself more than, €100m, a swap deal might be on the cards.
