Real Madrid Transfer News: Alvaro Morata urges Chelsea to buy Bernabeu star

Alvaro Morata made a summer move to Chelsea from Real Madrid and has now urged Antonio Conte to make a similar move for Real Madrid's midfield maestro Isco according to a report in Spanish news outlet Diario Gol.
The Blues ace is believed to be a close friend of the former Malaga star and would like to see the 25-year-old make Stamford Bridge his new home.
The Blacos have seen tough times fall upon them after winning both La Liga and the UEFA Champions League last season. Now behind Barcelona by 19 points in the La Liga table, Real were dealt another blow last night as they bowed out of the Copa del Rey against Leganes.
Isco, however, would be a hard target to get after penning a new deal in recent times with Real – snubbing off offers from Manchester City and Barcelona. However, with Zinedine Zidane under increasing pressure, the Spanish midfielder might yet contemplate his future.
Morata had a strong start to the season but has seen his performances take a dip in recent days.
Speaking of Morata’s struggle in recent times, former England captain recently wrote in the Daily Mail, “It is no surprise that Alvaro Morata is struggling for form.
“Having played all his football in Spain and Italy, Morata is playing his first season without a winter break.
“He is not as battlehardened as Diego Costa, the man he replaced at Stamford Bridge, while Michy Batshuayi is not trusted.
“Six of Morata’s 10 Premier League goals this season have been headers and defenders are getting wise to his movement when crosses are coming in.
“It is putting more pressure on his finishing and, when you do not score, it plays on your confidence.
“At the next appropriate point — perhaps the next round of the FA Cup — Morata should be given a week to go abroad and recharge.
“The club will reap the benefits.”
Chelsea have had a tougher season than expected in Antonio Conte’s second season in charge. After winning the Premier League in his first season in England, the Italian sees his team 15 points off the top – realistically battling for a place in the Champions League.
