Real Madrid News: Forward urged to move to Spain by fellow countryman
Former Egyptian and Tottenham Hotspur striker, Mido, might have hit some nerve as he believes that fellow Egyptian star Mohamed Salah should leave Liverpool for Real Madrid or Barcelona should the opportunity arise.
Salah has been phenomenal for Liverpool ever since joining from Roma, winning the PFA Premier League Player of the Year award for his scintillating performances for the Reds, and has attracted interest from Real Madrid over the course of the season – and he should go if they come calling, believes Mido.
'With all due respect to Liverpool and his fans, Salah should immediately accept any offer from Real Madrid or Barcelona,” he said to ON Sport.

Mido opined that the former Chelsea forward could be very good in La Liga and would be a superb signing for Madrid with both Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale having a terrible season with the Blancos.
'He has been amazing with Liverpool the entire season, and could be very useful in La Liga especially with Real Madrid who are suffering from Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema’s horrible form this season.”
Salah was signed by Liverpool for only £36.9 million last summer and took the Premier League by storm instantly. He currently has 31 goals from 33 games and is on Real Madrid’s radar.
It is, however, highly unlikely that Liverpool would let him go easily – especially after losing Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona earlier in January – but Real Madrid’s poor outing in the league means that they would be itching to show their strength in the transfer market – something which they haven’t done for a while now.
