Mohamed Salah rejects Real Madrid move – Reports

RealMadrid are actively looking to sign a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo but have not been able to lure anyone to Bernabeu. The Spanish sidehave reportedly had quite a few bids turned down for their top targets but have not given up on a lot of them, just yet.

If reports El Pais are to be believed, Mohamed Salah personally turned down the chance to join Los Blancos this summer. The Liverpool star opted not to leave the Anfield side after a stunning debut season and jump on the opportunity of joining the Spanish giants.

The Egyptian had a historic debut season at Anfield, and that helped his side make it to the Champions League final. The Merseyside club have already tied him down to a new contract despite him having another four seasons left on his previous contract.

Mo Salah turning down Madrid made them look elsewhere, and they have still not managed to make a breakthrough in any deal. Harry Kane, Eden Hazard and Robert Lewandowski are said to be their top targets with Edinson Cavani also being linked with a move.

Tottenham have rebuffed all the initial talks with Madrid for Harry Kane and also manager Mauricio Pochettino. The Spurs duo were Florentino Perez’s personal favourites to replace Ronaldo and Zidane, but Dani Levy was not willing to listen to any offer.

Chelsea have agreed to hold talks regarding Thibaut Courtois but have made it clear that they will not sell Eden Hazard at any cost. The goalkeeper is still expected to join the Spanish giants this summer, but Hazard’s dream move might have to wait a little longer.

Bayern Munich have also informed Madrid that they will not be letting go of Lewandowski this summer. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has said that even a €150 million bid will not make them change their mind.
