Manchester United News: Paul Pogba hints at a move away from Old Trafford

Amidst reports of him being linked with La Liga giants Barcelona, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has dropped a big hint about his move to the Catalan club. In a recent interview, the French international said that he needs to be happy to perform at his best for Manchester United before adding that he would be fined if he spoke his true feelings.

'If you're not happy, you cannot give your best. There are things I cannot say otherwise I will get fined. I still enjoying playing football but like I said, when you are comfortable or confident and are good in the head, it's going to be easier,' he said. After leading Manchester United to a 2-1 win in the 2018 Premier League season opener at the Old Trafford against Leicester City, Pogba posted a message on Twitter stating 'I’ll always give my best to the fans and my teammates no matter what’s going on. #pogfeelings’'

According to various reports, Pogba’s post hints at dressing room unrest at Old Trafford, especially following his bust-up with Mourinho last season.

​Pogba played a crucial role in France winning the 2018 World Cup and he will be very important for Jose Mourinho is he wants his side to win the Premier League title. The midfielder joined the team after enjoying vacation post the World Cup win and was immediately drafted into the playing XI to take on Leicester without any match practice.

 

Pogba, who came back to Old Trafford in 2016 for a record £89m transfer fee, was also handed the captain's armband and led his team to victory after converting from the spot just minutes into the new season. The Manchester United fans will hope that he will be able to replicate his international success at Old Trafford in spite of his agent Mino Raiola being very adamant in taking the French international to Camp Nou.
