Cristiano Ronaldo looks for a home in Turin

Real Madrid are reportedly considering the option of selling Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus and this particular transfer looks to be a real possibility currently. Accordingly, a latest news article states that Ronaldo is looking for a residence at Turin.

After having spent nine fruitful seasons at Madrid, where he won four Champions League titles, Cristiano will most probably be enduring a new challenge in his professional career. Actually, he has an amazing recent memory of his visit to Turin, when the Juventus crowd wholeheartedly applauded him for his spectacular overhead kick in the first leg of the quarterfinals.

Ronaldo was the top-scorer in the Champions League last season, as he scored 15 goals in Real Madrid’s victorious campaign. This also included some brilliant performances in the knockout stages, which included goals against PSG and Juventus in both home and away legs.

His heroics in Europe’s premier competition must have impressed Juventus, who themselves have been in the quest for success in the Champions League. The Turin-based club was defeated by Barcelona in the finals of 2014/15 season. Then again, they had to suffer another loss against Real Madrid in the finals of the 2016/17 season.

Hence, Juventus’ pursuit of a Champions League superstar does not come as a major surprise. However, the fee, and Florentino Perez’s agreement over this deal would be crucial if this transfer were to take place.

As of now, according to a report, Ronaldo is already preparing for life in Turin. He and his family have been residing in Madrid for nine years now and the transition would surely be difficult. The weather conditions in Italy vary a lot from the pleasant climate of Spain, and it would be quite challenging for Cristiano and his family to adapt to the new surroundings. That being said, has the great man ever shied away from such difficult scenarios?

The manner in which this transfer would transpire remains to be seen.
