Cristiano Ronaldo goal: Real Madrid legend claims his Champions League goal was better

Real Madrid more or less sealed their place in the semis of the Champions League as Critiano Ronaldo fired in a brace to fire the Spanish giants to a comfortable 3-0 win over Juventus in their away leg. The defeat was the defending Serie A champions’ heaviest at their home stadium since they moved their 2011.
The win for the Blancos was marked by an extraordinary goal from Ronaldo – his second of the night – where he executed a bicycle kick to perfection to leave Gianluigi Buffon in goal with no chance. Ronaldo thus also became the first player to ever score in 10 consecutive Champions League games.
I am going to tell my kids about this game. I am going to tell them about a king. @Cristiano Ronaldo. #JUVRMA #JuveReal #UCL #Ronaldo pic.twitter.com/xz4677NawV

The goal was applauded by fans the world over as well the people on the Real bench including manager Zinedine Zidane. And whilst the Frenchman was definitely impressed with Ronaldo’s strike, he still feels his goal against Bayer Leverkusen in the 2002 Champions League final was a notch above.
Asked to choose between the two, Zidane stated, “Oh mine! Definitely mine.”
“Ronaldo is different”
The Real Madrid legend was, however, full of praise for Ronaldo who gave them an early lead in the third minute of the game and could have easily had a hat-trick if he hadn’t fluffed his line from eight yards out.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is different. He’s a different player to everyone else and he always has this desire to do something extraordinary in the Champions League, he never rests on his laurels.
“His overhead kick was remarkable, yet he missed two much easier chances. That’s football!
Zidane, who saw his side beat Juventus 4-1 in the Champions League final last year felt that this was an even stronger performance even with the home side putting them under pressure. He, however, felt Ronaldo and Real’s clinical display was what made all the difference.
“It’s not easy to put three goals past Juve on their own field. We put in a great performance, but Juve also did very well, put us under pressure and had the chances to score goals, but we were more clinical,” Zidane told Mediaset Premium.
“Of course Juventus aren’t happy with the result tonight, but I will always have Juve in my heart.”
