Robert Lewandowski has been primed for a move to the Premier League after the Poland international recently switched agents. The Bayern Munich ended relationships this month with Cezary Kucharski, who has been his agent for the last 10 years, to join hands with Pini Zahavi.

The move has seen the rumours mills go ablaze with murmurs regarding a move being on the cards for the talismanic forward.

Lewandowski has spent the last eight years in Germany, having joined Dortmund from Lech Poznan in 2010. And the rest as they say, is history.

According to the report, the Bavarian forward fancies a swansong in the Premier League with Manchester United and Chelsea competing to acquire his services in the summer.

And now according to the report, Chelsea are the leading candidates for his signature ahead of Mourinho’s United.

Zahavi was the man who helped Roman Abramovich take over Chelsea in 2003 and he might play a big role to bring another gem to Stamford Bridge.

Whilst, it will not be an easy task to prise away one of Bayern’s jewel and would only come about should the striker truly wants to move away from his present situation.

Manchester United certainly have the financial muscle to challenge the Blues for the signature of the man in question. It also remains to be seen if Liverpool also expresses an interest in the forward. It was Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, who brought the man to Germany and one would not put it beyond the ex-Dortmund manager to look
