Martin Braithwaite is relishing Tuesday’s reunion with former club Leganes and has highlighted just how keen he is to play against Javier Aguirre’s side.
The Dane started Barcelona’s 4-0 win over Real Mallorca on Saturday ahead of the returning Luis Suarez and scored his first goal for the club in the win.
Braithwaite may just have done enough to keep his place in the starting XI and has made it clear how much he wants to play at the Camp Nou.
Quique Setien said in his pre-match press conference he would be making changes to keep his side fresh. He also explained he had not yet decided if Luis Suarez would start and wanted to be careful with the striker after his long injury lay-off.
