Lionel Messi and records is a love story that will transcend any timeline. The Argentine has been associated with one goal scoring record or the other during his career and the Argentine was again at his supreme best to rewrite the record books for the umpteenth time.

And with that in mind, nothing would make him happier if he can truly re-write history in the next few weeks in two vital games – which can make or break Barcelona’s campaign.

Messi will lead his troops out for battle against Chelsea on 15th of March with a place in the final eight of the Champions League at stake. They will then take on Sevilla in the final of the Copa del Rey next month.
