Willian still looking for a way out of Chelsea – Reports

Willian has decided that he wants to leave Chelsea this summer according to reports in The Sun. The Brazilian is keen on joining Barcelona and has informed The Blues that he wishes to move.

Apart from Barcelona, Manchester United are chasing the 29-year-old winger. Jose Mourinho is also said to be a long-term admirer of the Brazilian and tried to sign last summer as well.

However, Chelsea have made it clear that they will not be selling him to the Old Trafford side at any cost.

The Spanish giants have already made two bids for Willian as per reports in Spain. Chelsea rejected the first one that was reportedly around €50 million. The Catalan side then made a bid of £53 million, but the Premier League side are holding for €75-80 million.

Willian fell out with Antonio Conte towards the end of the last season as his game time reduced. Reports suggest that Brazilian is still keen on quitting despite Maurizio Sarri’s arrival at Stamford Bridge.

The Sun reports that Willian discussed a move to Camp Nou with Philippe Coutinho during the World Cup. The former Liverpool star has managed to convince him that it is the best for all parties if he moved.

Chelsea are willing to let go of Willian if he insists on leaving but have no plans to sell him if he does not hand in a transfer request. He was signed from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2013 after he underwent a medical at Tottenham.

There are reports that Chelsea will demand Ousmane Dembele in return for Willian, but that deal will see The Blues paying a fee to Barcelona as well. The Spanish giants signed the Frenchman last summer for over €100M from Borussia Dortmund.

There is still a long way to before this deal is concluded especially with Chelsea keen on solving the Hazard and Courtois situation first.
