Transfer News: Napoli’s midfielder maestro looks set for a move according to agent

It seems as though there is no shortage of interest for Napoli’s pass-master Jorginho as his agent Joao Santos has revealed that a number of clubs are vying for his signature.
Jorginho plays as a midfielder and is renowned for his passing. Indeed, he holds the world record for the most passes made in a game when he completed 180 passes against Cagliari last season.
His great performances this season have put clubs like Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool on alert – which is what his agent’s words also suggest.
Santos stated that he and his client will wait for the season to end before holding discussions while also claiming that it is only natural for clubs to be interested in a talent of his caliber.

“We’ll talk about it at the end of the season, not least because there are four games to go and we don’t want to disturb anything right now,” Joao Santos confirmed on Radio Marte.
“Given the way Jorginho has played this season, and his work with the Italian national team, it’s normal that there are important teams following him.
“But if I speak with four or five teams who like Jorginho, that doesn’t mean anything is done or that he’ll leave.”
Napoli are just a point behind Juventus in the league with four matches to go. The crux component for Napoli’s brilliant season has been Maurizio Sarri’s tactics bringing the best out of the Italian midfielder.
It will be very difficult for Napoli to hold on to their prized asset as we may finally get to see Jorginho play in an elite club next season.
