Real Madrid’s ‘Red’ away kit for next season leaked
- Updated: March 15, 2018
Real Madrid are set to move away from their traditional colours and don a ‘tango red’ away kit next according to pictures leaked online.
Footy Headlines, one of the most trusted sites when it comes to leaked kits has this time obtained the design of Real’s third kit for the 2018/19 campaign.
In a major departure from what we have come to see in recent years, Real’s long term kit manufacturers – Adidas are set to give the Blancos a bold new look in terms of their away kit. The leaked pictures also suggests that the new design will have the club logo plastered at the centre of the jersey.
The Adidas logo meanwhile finds itself placed just above the club crest.
The shoulder and sleeves of the shirt is seen to be adorned by white stripes which become more prominent as we move away from the collar and towards the sleeves.
The design is believed to have drawn inspiration from Adidas' 1990s clothing line 'Adidas EQT'.
Tango Red training jacket made available as well
Adidas have also plans to release a tango red training jacket as well for Real next season – one they are like to wear in their pre-match warm-ups.
The bold new colour scheme is believed to be a conscious effort by the Sporting giants to merge sports and fashion and make the outfits savvy for people even who don’t always have an interest in football in general.
The kit is expected to hit the shelves in July or August this year.
