Marco Asensio confuses Real Madrid fans with celebrations… Arsenal fans will love this!

MARCO ASENSIO left Real Madrid fans scratching their heads with his two goal celebrations on Sunday evening.

The youngster netted the opening goal of the game at the Benito Villamarin.

Asensio then struck again to regain Madrid’s lead as they held off a stubborn Real Betis side 5-3.

But the way the 21-year-old celebrated both his goals left supporters curious.

Asensio headed home his first and was greeted by his entire team, who hugged him near the corner flag.

But after the crowd of players dispersed, the attacker looked towards the Madrid bench and pretended to shave his head.

Asensio pointed to a member of his squad, laughing, while he was miming the act.

“The first was a bet with a friend who told me that if I scored, he would shave his head,” he revealed after the game.

The second of Asensio’s goals excited Arsenal fans.

After striking low past Betis stopper Antonio Adan, the player then performed the ‘flute celebration’ which is a trademark of Gunners forward Alexandre Lacazette.

A host of Arsenal supporters took to Twitter to discuss the Madrid star’s impression.

The Spaniard then ran to the Madrid dugout and hugged former Betis star Dani Ceballos, who had been receiving boos from the home crowd.

“The second was for Dani, who is a friend of mine and I wanted to dedicate it to him,’ Asensio added.

Madrid’s win still leaves them 17 points behind La Liga leaders Barcelona.
