Manchester United News: Jose Mourinho slams Manchester City for lack of class

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has taken aim at Manchester City, slamming them for their apparent lack of class. Mourinho was unhappy with the way some of the sequences in City’s Amazon Prime documentary, All or Nothing, panned out. All or Nothing, a documentary dealing with City’s record-breaking 2017/18 season, released last week to rave reviews.
However, Mourinho took exception to the way he – and his style of play – was portrayed in the documentary. During one of the episodes, when United were set to play their city rivals, the narrator could be heard saying, “It is Guardiola versus Mourinho once more; possession versus defence; attacking football versus ‘park-the-bus”.
‘I think you can have a fantastic movie while respecting the others. You don’t have to disrespect others to have a fantastic movie, but, you can be a rich club and buy the best players in the world, but you can’t buy class,” explained Mourinho while taking a jibe at Pep and City.
“And they showed that clearly, that was really obvious,’ he added.
However, City have washed their hands of the whole affair, thrusting the entire blame on Amazon instead. The club have claimed that they had no say in directing the movie and only intervened on sensitive or personal material. Mourinho though seemed unconvinced with the explanation.
All is not clearly well at Manchester United and it remains to be seen if such incidents affect their season on the whole.
