Latest Arsenal transfer rumors: Aubameyang eyes Dembele reunion?

The winter transfer window is almost upon us and with it are the rumor mills heating up with Arsenal being liked to some of the top players. Unai Emery has already brought in 5 players – Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno, Sokratis Papatathopoulos, Lucas Torreira, and Matteo Guendouzi, since he took over. Will there be any new signings in January?

Reports are doing the round that Arsenal striker Aubameyang is keen on reuniting with an old friend. It is no secret that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a huge admirer of Ousmane Dembele and the duo are close friends. Arsenal have time and again been liked with Dembele, who was also pictured alongside several Arsenal players in the summer.

Dembele is currently enjoying the form of his life and also scored for Barcelona in the 4-0 win against local rivals Espanyol at the weekend. The Frenchman even scored the opening goal in Barcelona’s Champions League clash against Arsenal’s rivals Tottenham with a mindblowing solo effort.

While Dembele is enjoying a purple patch, it is no secret that he wants out of Barcelona. And after Aubameyang sent the French forward a message after his brilliant strike against Spurs saying ‘Amazing’, Gunners legend Ian Wright jumped into the conversation to add a little more fuel to the Dembele transfer rumor. Wright replied to Aubameyang’s comment with a gif that said ‘How Much?’.
