Jorginho to Man Utd: Agent makes huge transfer claim about Napoli star

MANCHESTER UNITED target Jorginho could be sold by Napoli in the summer, his agent Joao Santos has claimed.

Manchester United have been linked with a move for Jorginho in the summer as a potential replacement for Michael Carrick.

Reports say the Brazilian is one of three targets being considered by the Red Devils, including Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Nice’s Jean Michael Seri.

Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos has previously discussed a move to Old Trafford for his client but joked he would not like the wet weather in Manchester.

However, it seems the 26-year-old could have had a change of heart as Santos has opened the door to the Brazilian leaving Napoli in the summer.

“He has been there for four years now and feels Neapolitan,” Santos told Italian broadcaster Radio CRC.

“It’s an issue of mentality, it’s a family at Napoli and they all play for each other.

“Right now everyone is concentrated on the Scudetto – an objective they’ve been missing for 30 years.

“I think we’ll discuss a renewal at the end of the season, as it’s not the moment to talk about that, because he still has a long contract.'
