Chelsea Transfer News: Michy Batshuayi provides clarification on Blues future

Michy batshuayi is the talk of the town in Dortmund. The Frenchman has taken to life Germany like a duck to water and has been in imperious form ever since putting on the black and yellow of Borussia Dortmund.

A deadline day move, the former Marseille man was sent on loan to Borussia Dortmund in a move that triggered a hat-trick of major transfers on the last day. His move to the Westfalenstadion led to Pierre- Emerick Aubameyang moving to Arsenal while former Gunner fan-favourite Olivier Giroud made the cross-London move to Chelsea.

The move for the 24-year-old forward seems to have come at the right time. Largely frozen on the bench since his move to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2016, Batshuayi has scored four in his first three games for the German side.

This includes a brace a to help Dortmund secure a come-from-behind win over Atalanta in their Europa League tie.

With him being in hot form and his future still unclear, there has many question marks raised as to what will happen to the Frenchman this coming summer. With Antonio Conte at the helm of affiars at Chelsea, he may never get a proper look in at London.

Speaking on the subject after another grand performance for Dortmund, Batshuayi quipped, 'I'm not thinking about that at all (Chelsea future),” Batshuayi told ESPN.

“For me, it's important to perform well for Borussia Dortmund in every match anew. I'll deal with the situation as it comes.'

Batshuayi finally seems to have found a club and a city that makes him feel welcome and he wants to give it back to the fans by winning silverware for the club

'They all welcomed me here with open arms,' he added.

'The entire staff and the team made it very easy for me and I have a good translator by my side.

'I'm feeling very good at the moment.

'It was an important win for the team. We're trying to win every match and to continue to our good run.'
