Charlie Adam: Real Madrid will find it easier to sign Chelsea FC star than Harry Kane

The Stoke midfielder believes Real Madrid will have more luck trying to sign Chelsea FC star Eden Hazard rather than Tottenham striker Harry Kane in the summer

Real Madrid will find it easier to sign Chelsea FC forward Eden Hazard rather than Tottenham striker Harry Kane, Charlie Adam has claimed.

The Spanish giants are in need of a rebuild in the summer following a disastrous domestic seasons for Zinedine Zidane’s side.

Real Madrid are in fourth place in the La Liga table and a staggering 19 points behind runaway leaders Barcelona.

Los Blancos have been linked with a move to sign Tottenham striker Kane in recent seasons despite his continued commitment to the Premier League club.

The England international has scored 22 times in 25 games in the Premier League to firmly establish himself as one of the leading strikers in Europe.

Real Madrid have been regularly touted as a potential destination for Chelsea number 10 Hazard since he inspired the Blues to the Premier League title in 2014-15.

The Belgium international is reportedly keen on a move to the Spanish giants, although Chelsea FC would surely be reluctant to lose their prized asset.

But Stoke midfielder Charlie Adam believes Real Madrid will find it easier to sign Hazard rather than Kane if the Champions League holders decide to raid the Premier League in the summer.

“It would probably be easier for Real Madrid to sign Hazard then get Kane out of Tottenham,” Adam told The Debate on Sky Sports on Thursday night.

Chelsea FC have won the Premier League title in two of the last three seasons, with Hazard scoring a combined 40 goals in the title successes.

The west London outfit haven’t won the Champions League crown since 2012 when the Blues managed to beat Bayern Munich on penalties.
