Pain Gaming receive a direct invite to ESL One Katowice 2019

The ESL One Katowice is one of the premier ESL events throughout the year. With ESL forming a partnership with the Katowice local municipality it almost guarantees the longevity of the event. ESL One Katowice 2019 is a multi-game event which sees different esports titles on display. It is not uncommon to see Counter-Strike, Dota 2 and Starcraft all at the same event. Valve has also announced ESL One Katowice 2019 as the first CS: GO Major for 2019. However, the Dota 2 event is also taking place at the same time.

ESL One Katowice 2019 will not be a part of the Dota Pro Circuit. Despite not having Valve’s endorsement, it has a huge prize pool of $300,000. There will be a total of sixteen teams in participation at the event. They will compete for the glory as well as the prize money.

ESL welcome Pain Gaming as the only South American team in Katowice. Pain Gaming had a poor performance at the Kuala Lumpur Major. They were out in the last place losing 0-1 to TNC Predator.
