Mark Ein reveals the Washington Justice for Overwatch League Season 2.

The deadline for the formal announcements of the Overwatch League rosters passed on December 1st. However, the Washington Justice which revealed its branding today has yet to announce its roster. Washington Esports Ventures, a sports organization founded by Mark Ein, owner of the Washington Kastles of World Team Tennis owns this franchise. Their investment in esports comes at a time when esports is seeing increasing viewership numbers and potential growth. The Washington Justice is an apt name for a franchise situated in the nation’s capital region.

Here is a look at their Logo and their colours. The Red and Blue Colour scheme definitely is representative of the American Flag. The patriotism feel of the team is clearly visible in its name as well as the colour scheme. The bottom of the shield forms a subtle “W” in tribute to the region, centred on the Washington Monument. The shield is crowned with a single white star in a blue setting as an ode to the American flag.

Justice is a universal value and the perfect name for a franchise that we hope will inspire and unite both our Washington area community and fans around the globe. There is no region in the world that attracts more people to serve the cause of justice in government, philanthropy, academia, military service, and the private sector than Washington. In fact, DC’s official city motto is ‘Justitia Omnibus,’ which translates to ‘Justice for All.’ As a team representing the broader DMV region, it was important that our team identity reflects a value that unifies all of our community members, representing the full diversity of backgrounds and Beliefs.

DC-Based Entrepreneur Mark Ein also hopes that fans from the region will support the team as they head into Overwatch League Season 2. They have already acquired the services of

A strong Coaching lineup

WizardHyeong as the head coach for the team. WizardHyeong was one of the most sought-after coaches for Season 2 of the Overwatch league. He led NYXL to one of the more remarkable start for the OWL season 1. However, he was unable to help NYXL over the top when it mattered the most. New York Excelsior lost in the semi-finals of the League to Philadelphia Fusion.

We welcome both the hundreds of thousands of passionate Overwatch fans and amateur players already in our region, as well as our new fans who want to experience the exciting future of professional esports competition for themselves. We hope you’ll join us as we represent this region in the awesome, fast-paced competition of the Overwatch League.
