Team Abu Dhabi Squad 2019, Players, Coach & T10 League Predictions

Like Bangla Tigers and Delhi Bulls, Team Abu Dhabi is also a new entrant in the third season of the T10 League scheduled to be held in Abu Dhabi.

England all-rounder Moeen Ali is the Icon Player and the skipper of the side. He has his England teammate Harry Gurney for company. As the skipper of the side, Ali is expected to open the batting for his side alongside wicketkeeper-batsman Niroshan Dickwella.

Corey Anderson, Luke Wright, Rohan Mustafa and former Nepal skipper Paras Khadka complete the batting line-up in the side. Rameez Shahzad and Alex Davies are the other two rookie batsmen in the squad. The likes of Anderon, Ali, Dickwella and Right thus will have to do much of the scoring so as to cover the inexperience of the duo.

The bowling line-up of Team Abu Dhabi is also slightly on the weaker side. It does not have a bowler with much international reputation. Ben Laughlin and Marchent de Lange are the pace options in the attack while it lacks a good spinner. Young West Indian pacer Hayden Walsh is the other inexperienced pacer in the side.

Something which comes as a good news for the franchise is that they will be coached by World Cup-winning coach Trevor Bayliss. Bayliss called time on his coaching career with England post the 2019 World Cup. Apart from coaching England, Bayliss has also won two IPL titles with Kolkata Knight Riders (2012, 2014).

Bayliss will bring all his coaching experience into play as he will have to bring out the best from a number of young and inexperienced players in the side. He would look forward to work in tandem with his England national team player Moeen Ali and figure out a winning formula. Also how he brings out the best from rookie players will be an interesting watch.

Like the Bulls and the Tigers, Team Abu Dhabi is also the surprise package of the season. Good things are expected from this team with a world cup winning coach leading the charge.

T0 cricket is all about exciting and entertaining cricket and the franchise will be expected to deliver some quality cricket.
