The Abu Dhabi T10 League is upon us and cricket enthusiasts across the globe are really excited at the chance to watch their favourite stars in action on a completely new platform. This is a new format of 10 over cricket where every bowler will have a maximum over limit of 2 overs. This will naturally spark some explosive batting and bowling alike!
Maratha Arabians will take on the defending champions Northern Warriors in the tournament opener on 15th November, 2019 at 4.30 PM. The game will be held at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Maratha Arabians Playing XI Updates
The Maratha Arabians now have Andy Flower as the coach and Yuvraj Singh will be leading the team along with Sri Lankan icon Lasith Malinga and Dwayne Bravo, the talented West-Indian all-rounder. Chris Lynn is the icon player and other additions include Adam Lyth, Hazratullah Zazai, Wanindu Hasaranga and Chadwick Walton.
Northern Warriors Playing XI Updates
The defending champions will be more confident of repeating their feat from 2018 with multiple West Indian stars in the ranks. Darren Sammy has been appointed captain and he will have Lendl Simmons, Andre Russell and Nicholas Pooran, the last edition’s top run scorer for company. Sam Billings and Chris Green are other key players although 2018’s leading wicket-taker Hardus Viljoen (18 wickets) will be missing from the squad.

T10 League 2019 Maratha Arabians vs. Northern Warriors Match Prediction
This could be the same story as last year’s second Eliminator final when the Maratha Arabians were trounced by the Northern Warriors in a commanding display. The Warriors have ample hitting power in the form of Andre Russell, Nicholas Pooran (highest run-getter last year) and Lendl Simmons while their bowling unit looks sorted with Sammy, Raza, Deyal and Wahab Riaz.
Yet, the Maratha Arabians are a star-studded lineup this time around with Dwayne Bravo, Yuvraj Singh, Chris Lynn, Lasith Malinga, Mohammad Irfan and others. On the face of it, the Warriors have the more well-balanced team on paper although the Arabians are well stocked this time around. If the Arabians can contain the West Indian power hitters early on then they have a chance of restricting the Warriors.
