Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 Ticket sales start online

The PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) has officially released information related to ticket sales and prices for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020. The first batch of tickets is already being sold from 8 PM on 27th January via as per the PCB’s press release.

General ticket sales have also started from 28th January via dedicated TCS Express Centers in 38 Pakistani cities. Every customer can buy up to 7 tickets for each match with a single national ID card. For the grand opening ceremony on 20th February and the opening game in Karachi, ticket prices range between Rs. 1-6,000. Tickets for the final match at Lahore on 22nd March come for Rs. 500-5,000. The price range is Rs. 500-4,000 for the qualifier in Karachi on 17th March. The same price range applies for the Eliminator matches in Lahore on the 18th and 20th of March respectively.

Ticket prices were finalized after a comprehensive review procedure, taking into account factors like weekend and working games, starting times and affordability aspects for cricket fans as per the PCB. Fan experiences will be the key focus area for the PCB this time and a more efficient and hassle-free ticketing system is now in place with close to a month before the start of the 2020 PSL.

The Director (Commercial) at PCB, Babar Hamid, also stated that the PCB wishes to offer its best hospitality to the entire world and encourages fans from across the globe to visit the country for witnessing the tournament live. He talked of how HBL PSL has always been loved by highly passionate cricket fans in Pakistan who should definitely attend matches in large numbers in 2020 too. He talked of how this is a great opportunity to showcase Pakistan’s love for cricket to the world.
