1. Jalaj Saxena (India)

 Jalaj Saxena Indian Domestic Cricketer

Jalaj Saxena- All-rounder Jalaj Saxena was bought for Rs. 20 lakh in the auction for IPL 2019 by Delhi Capitals. However, Saxena did not get even one match last season and was released sometime earlier by his team. Yet, he has been a consistent performer in domestic cricketer, being the only player with more than 300 first-class wickets and more than 6,000 runs, to have not played for India so far. Saxena recently made headlines by picking up 7 wickets for 41 runs in the Deodhar Trophy versus India C. He can be a middle-order asset and is a handy bowler too. Saxena has picked up 49 wickets in 54 T20 games with a 16.8 strike rate and economy rate of 6.92. He could be in contention for yet another stint with the Delhi Capitals.

2. Colin Munro (New Zealand)

Colin Munro New Zealand All Rounder

Colin Munro did not set the stadium on fire for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2019 in spite of being retained by the team after a similarly lackluster 2018 season. He scored just 84 runs in 4 matches last season and was released thereafter. However, he has got back into form recently and Delhi Capitals may consider giving him another try. He recently scored 46 runs off 21 balls versus England in the 5th T20I match along with knocks of 119 (87) and 167 (94) for Auckland in the Ford Trophy. Munro has a good T20I record with 5,662 runs in 237 games with a strike rate of 145.55.

3. Chris Morris (South Africa)

Chris Morris is one of South Africa’s most reliable all-rounders and post his release from Delhi Capitals, is back in the auction pool at Rs. 2 crore as his base price. Morris is known for his yorkers in the death overs and his ability to hit the ball a long distance as well. In IPL 2019, he had just 32 runs to his name although he picked up 13 wickets in all. Yet, Morris could be bought back for his 157.62 batting and 18.60 bowling strike rates. He can be an invaluable asset for Delhi Capitals and could be used as a floater in the batting lineup as well.
