Ahead of the 2023/24 Premier League fixture schedule being published this week, we have everything you need to know about the next campaign.
Does the season schedule return to normal?
Yes. After three seasons affected by either the COVID-19 pandemic or the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the 2023/24 season has a more familiar pattern to it.
The rounds of fixtures will be:
34 weekends
three midweek rounds
one Bank Holiday match round
When is the Premier League fixture release date?
The 2023/24 Premier League fixtures are announced at 9am (UK time) on Thursday 15 June. You will be able to find out who we play when on this website and The 5th Stand app.
When does the Premier League season start?
The 2023/24 campaign begins on the weekend of Saturday 12 August, a later start than last season which commenced on Friday 5 August.
When does the Premier League season end?
The final round of matches will be on Sunday 19 May 2024. As usual, all games that day will have the same kick-off time. Last season ended on 28 May.
Will there be a mid-season break?
There will. It will take place between 13 and 20 January.
How busy will the Christmas period be?
No two rounds across Christmas and New Year will take place within 48 hours of each other.
