EPL 2018/19: 3 reasons why Harry Kane won’t leave Tottenham Hotspur this season

Harry Kane signed a new contract extension with Tottenham Hotspur and that somewhat put in bed the rumors regarding him moving to Real Madrid. Having been one of the most prolific forwards in Europe over the past few years, it is quite apparent that other clubs would target him to fill the voids in their respective forward lines.
There were strong rumors regarding him transferring to the UEFA Champions League winners, but nothing materialized as such. Here, I opine three reasons why Kane would stay at Tottenham despite constant rumors regarding his departure from the North London based club.

Harry Kane is a very reserved personality off the field, and his personal life is quite settled. He is one of the most talented forwards of the current generation, but unlike the majority of the new lads in the football scene, he prefers to maintain a very low-key approach off the pitch.
Kane and his partner Katie Goodland have been together ever since they were teenagers. Both of them live in London, and they welcomed their first child Ivy last year. Moreover, he has been living in London for quite some time now, and it is safe to suggest that Kane would tend to continue his pleasant personal life along with his career simultaneously.
A change in countries or surrounding undoubtedly brings turbulence to one’s off-field activities, and Kane seems to be one of those players who wouldn’t like this to happen.

England have played hosts to some of the best strikers in Europe over the past few decades, but none of them have boasted the goal-scoring abilities of Alan Shearer. Shearer’s record of 260 Premier League goals is considered to be the pinnacle for any striker in the league, and not many of them have come close to matching that feat.
Wayne Rooney comes up second in the list of the top goal-scorers and the former Manchester United striker had notched 208 goals. Of course, Rooney’s game had much more to offer than mere goal-scoring, but the fact remains true that Shearer’s record has been left untouched.
Kane has already scored 109 goals so far and averages an impressive 0.71 goals per match. He turned 25 years old last month, and has a long career ahead of him now.
Moreover, Kane hasn’t even entered the peak years of his career, and we surely could expect many more good seasons from him in the coming years. If Kane stays in the Premier League for a longer period of time, there is every chance that he could become the league’s greatest ever goal-scorer.

#1 Mauricio Pochettino
It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Spurs have undergone an extreme change in fortunes ever since the former Espanyol manager took over the managerial duties. Pochettino has gradually overseen a revolution of sorts at Spurs, by developing and integrating young talents, whilst maximizing the potential of his players.
Pochettino has guaranteed successive Champions League spots to Spurs, and even finished second in the 2016/17 season. They have now finished ahead of major rivals Arsenal consecutively in the past two seasons, and Pochettino deserves appreciation for that.
However, the most vital cog in Pochettino’s setup is Harry Kane, undoubtedly. The player and the manager share a very cordial, warm relationship, as both of them have stated their fondness for each other on multiple occasions.
Pochettino rates Kane very highly and there are very few chances that he would allow his star player to leave the club whilst the Argentine is in charge as the manager. He has been working towards revamping the whole structure of the club, and Kane would be extremely crucial if they were to win any silverware soon.
Hence it is unlikely, that Pochettino would sanction Kane’s sale, and the player’s relationship with the manager is arguably so good that he wouldn’t go against the wishes of his gaffer either.
